Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these courses for?

Employees of small trades and service businesses, such as landscaping, construction, roofing and cleaning companies. No technical background is required.

How long is each course?

20 hours over six weeks: 12 hours of live instruction and 8 hours of guided project work.

How much does a course cost?

Tuition is $3,995 per participant.

How is tuition paid?

Payment is not taken on this website. After registering, you receive an invoice on screen for your records. We then email the invoice with payment instructions before the course start date.

Can the cost be reimbursed?

Employers in British Columbia may apply to the B.C. Employer Training Grant for up to 80% of eligible training costs. WorkBC makes the decision, and approval is not guaranteed.

Will you apply for the training grant on our behalf?

No. WorkBC requires the employer to apply directly. We supply the course details the application requires.

Does the business need to buy new software?

No. Courses begin with the tools the business already uses and add low-cost AI tools only where they clearly save time.

Can more than one employee take a course?

Yes. Tuition is charged per participant, and employees from the same business may attend the same sessions.

What happens if a session is missed?

Missed sessions are rescheduled one-on-one so the participant completes all 20 hours before a certificate is issued.

Is the certificate an academic credential?

No. It is a certificate of completion issued by Groundwork AI Training confirming the course, dates and hours completed.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refund 14 or more days before the start date. See Policies for details.
